Day Fourteen – Stillwater Cove to Olema, CA

Today’s ride was one of the shortest of the trip at 65 miles, and we were all looking forward to a slighly easier day. Alas and foresooth nothing was farther from the truth! We started the day with a very large climb about 6 miles outside of camp. With no real warm up and 1,200 feet this was a very tough climb.

The rest of the day was sweeping rollers, high with hairpin turns so no momentum to head into the next uphill. The final indignity was the mistaken directions that sent all the riders to the wrong camp.
